Il piano ha l’obiettivo di:
– diffondere una cultura dell’innovazione ambientale nel mercato;
– indurre gli acquirenti ad adottare un approccio basato sul Ciclo di Vita;
– rispondere efficacemente alle sfide globali della sostenibilità ambientale;
– aumentare l’efficienza e ridurre i costi nell’uso delle risorse, riducendo così le emissioni di CO2;
– ridurre l’uso di sostanze pericolose e la produzione di rifiuti.
Il Green Public Procurement (GPP) è certamente uno strumento importante che sarà sempre più utilizzato negli anni a venire in Italia e in Europa per acquistare mobili a ridotto impatto ambientale.

The plan has the goal of:
- spreading a culture of environmental innovation in the market;
- causing buyers to adopt a Life Cycle Thinking approach;
- responding effectively to global challenges of environmental sustainability;
- Increasing efficiency and cost savings in the use of resources, thus reducing CO2 emissions.
- Reducing the use of hazardous substances and waste production.
Green Public Procurement (GPP) is certainly an important tool that will be increasingly used in the years to come in Italy and across Europe to procure furniture with a reduced environmental impact.
